To Our Patients,
At Chenango Eye Associates we appreciate the trust you place in us and want to inform you about how we are addressing the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
On April 15th Gov. Andrew Cuomo put forth an executive order mandating that all New York state residents are required to cover their nose and mouth with a mask or cloth face-covering when in a public space and unable to maintain social distancing guidelines. Given this mandate, we wanted to remind everyone that anyone coming to our office for an appointment must be wearing a face mask. We ask that the masks must be ready and put on before entering our facility.
Please know that our office is following all recommended guidance from public health authorities, including best practices for hygiene, infection control and medical professional team health.
We are taking proactive steps to ensure all of our patients and staff are as safe as possible. The following is a list of precautionary protocols:
-
Screening of all patients prior to their appointment, all patients are given the option of rescheduling their appointment
-
Patients must reschedule if they are ill or are exhibiting cold or flu like symptoms, have traveled to affected hot spots within the last 14 days and/or have been exposed to COVID-19
-
We have significantly reduced clinic schedule to allow for social distancing.
-
All family and friends will be required to wait outside or in their vehicles, unless patient requires special assistance
-
Patients may wait in vehicle until ready for exam
If you have any questions about this notification or your upcoming appointment, call our office at 607-334-3225.
Thank you for your continued trust and loyalty as we work together to fight this virus.
Sincerely,
Chenango Eye Associates
