Our Physicians

All of the Ophthalmologists at Chenango Eye Associates are Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and members of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, New York State Ophthlamological Society and the Chenango County Medical Society.

Jeffrey A. Kramer, M.D.

Dr. Kramer graduated from University of Illinois with honors, graduated from Loyola-Stritch School of Medicine Summa Cum Laude, and interned at UCLA-Harbor General Hospital, Los Angeles, California. He spent two years in the National Health Service Corps in general medicine practice at Chenango Memorial Hospital. He then completed his three year residency training at Stanford University Medical Center specializing in the medical and surgical care of the eye. This was followed by three years as a Major in the United States Army Medical corps practicing Ophthalmology in Germany

On leaving the military he established a practice in Norwich, NY where he has been practicing for over twenty-five years. He is a clinical instructor in the Department of Ophthalmology at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, NY, instructing both medical students and residents in ophthalmology.

Dr. Kramer sees patients in our Norwich facility.

Paul J. Orioli, M.D.,M.S.

Dr. Orioli graduated from Cornell University with distinction, obtaining a Masters of Science degree in neuroscience from SUNY Health Science Center, Syracuse, NY. and graduated Cum Laude from SUNY Health Science Center Syracuse, NY. He interned at St. Josephs Hospital, Syracuse, NY and completed his three year residency training at SUNY Health Science Center, Syracuse, NY specializing in the medical and surgical care of the eye. Dr. Orioli is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, and has also served as the Medical Director at Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich, NY.

Dr. Orioli sees patients in the Norwich and Sidney facilities.

Cynthia Briglin-Mavady, M.D.

Dr, Briglin-Mavady graduated from Colby College, Waterville, Maine Magna Cum Laude and graduated from SUNY Health Science Center , Syracuse, NY. She interned at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse, NY and completed her three year residency training at SUNY Health Science Center, Syracuse, NY specializing in the medical and surgical care of the eye. Dr. Briglin-Mavady is also a clinical instructor in the department of Ophthalmology at SUNY Health Science Center, Syracuse, NY and has held numerous positions within the Medical Staff Departments of both Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich. NY and Community Memorial Hospital, Hamilton, NY.

Dr. Briglin-Mavady sees patients in both the Norwich and Hamilton facilities.
